Before there was a sushi place on every street corner, this was my go to especially since it was near work.
After a decade-long hiatus, we happened to be in the area and wanted a cleaner option to the chain and fast food joints up and down the strip.
I'd say you get what you pay for here. The yam tempura was pretty decent but the sushi wasn't anything to really write home about. I guess now that I've experience some of the really great shops in our city, this one is just ok.
The place could also use some updating. The decor is pretty tacky and it looks like a daycare with weird bright colours. The seating is also tables crammed up to a wall so it's a little tight if you're out with a group.
The most unappealing part was the sushi chef who looked like he just rolled out of bed and was wearing sweat pants and no hair net or hat to cover his head.
We went around the busy dinner time and were surprised the place was empty with only two other people coming in for pick up the entire time we were there.
I suppose if you're in a hurry, this will do the trick, but perhaps try the handful of other sushi options in the area instead. -

Reasonably priced and decent food. Recommend the Shrimp Tempura and Salmon Sushi. Very nice and clean.

Service was slow and we were the only ones seated in the restaurant. Our edamame was cold. My husband enjoyed the chicken skewers as an appetizer. And the sushi was good. As I watched people come in and get take-out, I know why. I would order take-out next time.

Very good sushi. Don't be deceived because it's in a mall. lovely little place with attentive server and friendly sushi chefs!!

This place is horrible!!! Expensive and not worth the penny!! Wanted to try a new sushi place and it was a $96 mistake. This place was dead when we got there and it still took FOREVER to get our food. Will never go back. Such a waste of money.
